Your fever came back today with a vengeance. So, you and me stayed home from Shabbat tonight to just hang out and relax. We ended up watching Dumbo (your choice) in my bed.
You like to hum along to the opening song, and without fail, you cry out "Strong Man!" every time the muscle man bit comes on. Tonight you didn't say it with your usual gusto, but you still made the effort.
As you were falling asleep, you found my hand and curled your little fingers around mine.
