1. Double pee, huh? Cool!!

2. You can just share the puke bowl; it'll be fine. 

3. Toothbrushes go in our mouths, not in our pants.

The battle for your healthy diet still wages strong.  You are clinging to your Carb and Sugar Only plan, despite our many attempts otherwise. We went head to head again today, which resulted in you sitting at the dining table for 9 hours refusing to eat 1 tiny apple slice (no peel).  Your apple slice (and consequently, my will to live) slowly succumbed to a very slow and painful death.  

You won this round, but only just.

Today we took the train downtown to meet an old friend of mine and visit the Museum of Natural Sciences.  I thought you might like the dinosaurs and animals, but you were both mostly excited to find new surfaces on which to drive your cars. Finnik took every chance he could to make his escape from my (not so) watchful eye.

When Daddy's out of town, I always have 1-3 little visitors over the course of the night.  Last night I had two. Though you are all rather violent sleepers, I do love waking up to sweet little sleepy faces.

We spent Halloween night at home this year - Dutch and Titus had your Racecar Driver costumes on and had already finagled your way into getting to wear them to bed in lieu of your pj's. Finn, not to be outdone, was strutting around the house in your grandpa sweater and samouri sword.  You found yourself quite hilarious.  We did too.

This is the last time we can actually count your entire life in months; all too soon you will be a whole year old! 

You spend your days pushing things around the house, sucking on power cords, and locating hidden legos. You love spending time with your brothers and now that you can pull up on the couches, no toy or iphone is safe.

You are so very much in love with your big brothers, and you try desperately to do whatever it is they are doing.  Even if it means laughing heartily at something you have no idea why its funny - if they're laughing, you're laughing. It is quite endearing!

We celebrated the official end of The Summons with a nice little patio lunch at Mama Roma's.  You boys were in rare form today and Finn thought you were especially hilarious!
