You have a new best friend at school. Her name is Vivienne. She is the other English speaking person in your class. Her dad is Dutch, so she also speaks Dutch. Today we were talking about her and it went a little something like this:
You: Mommy, at school we speak French. But at home we speak English, right?
Me: Yep, that's right. Do you and Vivienne speak English at school sometimes?
You: Yep, we do! Vivienne speaks English too!!
Me: Did you know she speaks Dutch too?
You: Yep! And I speak "Vivienne" because we are best friends
Your logical little mind. Sometimes its just too cute.
