Whenever I come out of my room when I'm working from home, you stop whatever it is you're doing and ask "Mommy, are you done workin'?" Your little face always has such hope when you ask. I love the end of the day when I can finally answer "Yes, my love, I'm done!"
Tonight you asked if we could go outside and ride your new bike and it nearly broke your heart when I said no. So we went anyway.
"Just for 10 minutes, Mommy, that's all!" Ten minutes is a long time when you're four.
